Day 1: Understanding the Context of God’s Promise
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
Devotion:
This promise was spoken to God’s people while they were in exile in Babylon.
They were not in a place of comfort, yet God reassured them that He still had
plans for their future. This reminds us that God’s promises are not dependent on
our circumstances. Even in seasons of uncertainty, God remains intentional and
faithful.
Reflection Questions:
- What season am I currently in — comfort, uncertainty, or waiting?
- How does knowing the context of this scripture change how I see my situation?
Day 2: God’s Plans Are Long-Term
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:10–11
Devotion:
God told the Israelites that the exile would last seventy years. His promise was
not about immediate relief, but about long-term restoration. Waiting seasons are
preparation seasons where God builds character, wisdom, and endurance.
Reflection Questions:
- Where am I expecting immediate results instead of trusting God’s timing?
What might God be preparing me for in this season?
Day 3: Faithful Where You Are
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:5–7
Devotion:
God instructed His people to build houses, plant gardens, and seek the peace of
the city they lived in. Rather than withdrawing, they were called to remain
productive and faithful right where they were.
Reflection Questions:
- How can I be faithful and productive where God has placed me right now?
- What opportunities has God placed in my hands in this season?
Day 4: Prosperity Means Wholeness
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
Devotion:
The prosperity God speaks of includes peace, wholeness, and wellbeing. True
success is living in alignment with God’s will and values, not just material gain.
Reflection Questions:
- How do I define prosperity in my life?
- Which area of my life needs God’s restoring peace?
Day 5: Hope That Anchors the Future
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
Devotion:
God’s promise ends with hope. Hope anchors us during uncertainty and reminds
us that God is faithful. When our future is anchored in God, fear loses its grip.
Reflection Questions:
- What fears about the future do I need to surrender to God?
- What step of faith is God asking me to take this week?
Pillar 1: Vision with God at the Centre
Ask yourself:
• Where is God leading me in this season?
• What kind of impact should my business, job role, or leadership have?
Scripture:
“Write the vision and make it plain.” – Habakkuk 2:2
If the vision isn’t clear, execution will always be inconsistent.
Pillar 2: Prayerful Strategy
Prayer is not the last step — it’s the first step.
Before decisions, ask:
• Lord, is this aligned with Your will?
• Does this grow me — or drain me?
• Does this build people, not just profit?
Scripture:
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” –
Proverbs 16:
Pillar 3: Ethical & Future-Focused Decisions
Purposeful futures are built on:
• integrity
• discipline
• consistency
• values
Shortcuts cost more in the long run. Less of you, more of God.
As leaders, we are called to build businesses and communities that last, not
just succeed quickly.

Vertrou God se Planne in Onseker Tye
Dag 1: Verstaan die Agtergrond van God se Belofte
Skrifgedeelte: Jeremia 29:11
Oordenking:
Hierdie belofte is gegee toe God se volk in ballingskap in Babilon was. Hulle was
Refleksie Vrae:
- In watter seisoen van my lewe is ek tans – gemak, onsekerheid of wagtyd?
- Hoe verander die konteks van hierdie Skrifgedeelte my perspektief op my
huidige situasie?
Dag 2: God se Planne is Langtermyn
Skrifgedeelte: Jeremia 29:10–11
Oordenking:
Wagtye is
voorbereidings-tye waarin God karakter, wysheid en volharding bou.
Refleksie Vrae:
- Waar verwag ek vinnige resultate eerder as om God se tydsberekening te
vertrou?
- Waarvoor dink ek berei God my voor in hierdie seisoen?
Dag 3: Wees Getrou Waar Jy Is
Skrifgedeelte: Jeremia 29:5–7
Oordenking:
wees presies waar hulle was.
Refleksie Vrae:
- Watter geleenthede het God reeds in my hande geplaas?
Dag 4: Voorspoed Beteken Heelheid
Skrifgedeelte: Jeremia 29:11
Oordenking:
Refleksie Vrae:
- Hoe definieer ek persoonlik voorspoed?
- Watter area van my lewe het God se herstellende vrede nodig?
Dag 5: Hoop wat die Toekoms Anker
Skrifgedeelte: Jeremia 29:11
Oordenking:
Refleksie Vrae:
Vra jouself:
• Waarheen lei God my in hierdie seisoen?
• Watter tipe impak behoort my besigheid, werksrol of leierskap te hê?
Skrif:
• Here, is dit in lyn met U wil?
• Bou dit my op — of tap dit my uit?
• Bou dit mense, nie net wins nie?
Skrif:
