Weekly Devotion Series Time, Talent & Teams: Managing Your Gifts Well

ree

Week 1: Managing Your Gifts in the Fire

 Scripture Focus

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV).

Reflection:

God has entrusted you with unique gifts, talents, and time—not just for your

benefit, but to serve others and glorify Him. Life, however, will test your ability to steward these gifts well. Challenges like discouragement, fear, and even words spoken against you can shake your confidence. Yet, you are called to stay faithful. When the burden feels too heavy, and despair clouds your view,

remember: His grace is sufficient. His Spirit can renew your strength daily.

Invitation to the Holy Spirit:

Psalm 51:10 – ‘Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.’

John 14:26 – ‘But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My

name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.’

Declaration:

Today, I declare that I am a faithful steward of what God has entrusted to me.

Though challenges arise, I will not be shaken. I fix my eyes on Jesus, who

strengthens and equips me.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve placed within me. In moments of weakness and doubt, help me remember Your faithfulness. Renew my strength through Your Holy Spirit. Help me steward well what You’ve given me, not for my own glory, but to bless others and bring honor to Your name. Heal my heart, Lord, and teach me to see myself as You see me.
